| This class will help incoming sixth and seventh graders fulfill their summer reading assignments. The sixth graders will cover their paired reading and complete the assignment packet. Incoming seventh graders will read the two novels and prepare for the first language project by reading, discussing, and writing essays about the novels. Both groups will use a lit. circle approach to the reading. Language standards of characterization, theme, and use of evidence and citation will be reviewed. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
