During this course, students will be working collaboratively with their peers as well as with pen pals to explore science topics. Topics may include natural disasters, weather patterns, as well as rocks and plant life in our surrounding area. Students will be connecting with an “ePal” in another country to exchange scientific knowledge and skills. Additionally, students will receive direct instruction in iPad applications, word processing skills, conducting online research, email communication, and creating digital presentations that demonstrate their learning. This is a 2 week class, which runs Monday through Thursday from 8:30-12:15 at Richmond Street School. The goal of this course is to expand technology skills, explore a new region of our world, and have fun exploring with science. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
