| This course will cover all concepts and standards of MY3 (8th grade CCSS Math at El Segundo Middle School). The purpose of this class is accelerate through the MY3 curriculum and be prepared for High School Algebra 1AB to be taken at El Segundo Middle School in the Fall. Students who take this summer school option with the goal of then taking Algebra 1AB at ESMS during their 8th grade year, ESMS would like to see these students come out of Mr. Doering's class this summer with a minimum course grade of 85% (rubric level "3") or higher. If a student were to earn a grade lower than 85%, he/she could take 8th grade math (MYP Year 3) as an 8th grader here at ESMS, and would still be fully on track for all ESHS and college-ready requirements. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
