This summer get faster, stronger, and better for your upcoming season! The Athletic Strength and Agility Training class will be a introductory curriculum or continuing strength program used to optimally prepare student athletes for any competitive high school sport or to just be healthier in general. All athletes are welcome to join and specific sport skill exercises can be incorporated. Students will be expected work on the following concepts: Stretch routines, core workouts, plyometrics, Bigger Faster Stronger lifting, agility drills (ropes, dots, cone drills, agility ladders, etc.), reaction and speed development, resistance training, running form, warm ups/explosion drills (shuttles, high knees, butt kicks, etc.), endurance training, cool downs, etc. In addition, curriculum will include lessons on the principles of campus leadership, eating like an athlete, communication, and preparing for college level athletics.
*If an athlete is also a boys’
basketball player, he only needs to sign up for the basketball course and
then can attend strength training as well.
