As one of the first AP classes any student will take at El Segundo High School, AP World History is a challenging yet rewarding class offered to sophomores.  When taking an AP course, it is vital to have a clear understanding of the expectations and rigor.  This course will help provide a smooth transition into the upcoming year and will also provide the best opportunity for the student to feel confident when beginning school in the fall.  Students will work on their summer assignment, learn about the AP test (multiple choice and essays), complete a general overview of all units discussed throughout the year and have an EXTRA CREDIT opportunity to help raise their grade at the beginning of the school year.
